2012 Budget Adjustments Tally Sheet 5 Department Code Rev Exp FB GGR-17 Fire Dept _ Re-approp-Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant - 032R- _ . 815 GGR-17 General Fund Re-approp-Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant 002R 815 The U.S. Department of Homeland Security(DHS)and the Washington State Military Department allocated grant funding from the 2010 Pre-Disaster Mitigation grant program to local jurisdictions to support their local emergency management operating budget in updating their hazard mitigation plans. This re-appropriation carries forward $815 of unspent grant funds from the$94,476 grant awarded in 2010. This grant is comprised of a 75%/25%split of federal and local dollars. Increase Office Supplies Budget - - 032 5150001310 815 - Department Code Rev Exp FB GGR-18 Fire Debt I Re-approp-Heavy Rescue Apparatus Grant 032R - 600,000 GGR-18 General Fund Re-approp-Heavy Rescue Apparatus Grant 002R -600,000 Snohomish County Depaltuient of Emergency Management,acting as the pass-through agency for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's FFY10 Urban Area Security Initiative Program grant, has agreed to reimburse the City of Everett for a heavy rescue apparatus up to the amount of$600,000. This vehicle will provide interoperability with other heavy rescue s. apparatus throughout the Puget Sound region and will strengthen and enhance Homeland Security-directed response capabilities in a large scale event. There are no matching requirements for this contract. The heavy rescue apparatus is on order and will be received in 2012. This re-appropriation carries forward the$600,000 to the 2012 budget.
