The current Agreement <br /> identifies seven(7) City locations to be connected to the City Computer Network with fiber optic cable. The <br /> City desires to add more sites to the agreement both now and, in the future. The Information Technology <br /> Department expects that the City will need about 7 additional sites(for a total of 14 locations) during the next <br /> three years. Currently,the City needs to add a site at Fire Station#4,which prompted the need for this <br /> amendment. Amendment No. 1 modifies the Agreement to authorize the Mayor or the City's Information <br /> Technology Director the ability to add or subtract sites on an as-needed basis. Typically,the addition of each <br /> new site increases the City's monthly costs under the Agreement by about$500. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 with Black Rock Cable, Inc. and sign Exhibit B. <br /> 63 <br />
