Additional Required -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: Fairweather Forestry provides forestry consulting services in the Lake Chaplain Tract in accordance with the Land Management Off-License Agreement between the PUD, City of Everett and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.Assistance is provided with preparation of the City's timber sales and other forestry management activities required for implementation of the Lake Chaplain Tract Habitat Management Plan. Under a renewed Professional Services Agreement,Fairweather Forestry will also continue to assist in the on-going implementation of the Noxious Weed Management Plan for City lands in the vicinity of Lake Chaplain. This is a three-year contract with the maximum amount not to exceed$302,982. The present annual Professional Services Agreement expires on June 30, 2012. This new three-year Professional Services Agreement is needed to carry on the forestry work in the Chaplain watershed. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Fairweather Forestry for Forestry Management and Consulting Services in the amount of$302,982. 13
