Account Number(s):401-5-200-124-923-410 <br /> • <br /> Budget Remaining $302,982. <br /> Additional Required -0- <br /> DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: <br /> Fairweather Forestry provides forestry consulting services in the Lake Chaplain Tract in accordance with the <br /> Land Management Off-License Agreement between the PUD, City of Everett and the Washington <br /> Department of Fish and Wildlife.Assistance is provided with preparation of the City's timber sales and other <br /> forestry management activities required for implementation of the Lake Chaplain Tract Habitat Management <br /> Plan. Under a renewed Professional Services Agreement,Fairweather Forestry will also continue to assist in <br /> the on-going implementation of the Noxious Weed Management Plan for City lands in the vicinity of Lake <br /> Chaplain. <br /> This is a three-year contract with the maximum amount not to exceed$302,982. <br /> The present annual Professional Services Agreement expires on June 30, 2012. This new three-year <br /> Professional Services Agreement is needed to carry on the forestry work in the Chaplain watershed. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Fairweather Forestry for Forestry <br /> Management and Consulting Services in the amount of$302,982. <br /> 13 <br />
