The following was observed: <br /> Upon arrival of the first visit, contractor was currently excavating for sewer line within the building limits. The <br /> contractor installed 330' of sewer line today. Contractor completed the southwest run at a 1.85% slope grade. They <br /> bedded the pipe in sand then used the recycled concrete material as fill above the bedding. Contractor placed <br /> approximately 2' of recycled concrete material hoe packed the material. Compaction tests indicated adequate <br /> compaction of at least 90% or greater at tested locations. The contractor was also replacing the recycled concrete <br /> from where it was removed to dig the trench.
