• <br /> C. Analysis: <br /> The following is a review of the criteria listed in the Comprehensive Plan for use when considering <br /> Comprehensive Plan map amendments: <br /> 1. The requested action must be supported by the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Response: In the zone equivalency table of the Comprehensive Plan, (Land Use Element,page 76) <br /> the 4.2 (Community Business) and 4.4 (Mixed Use Commercial)designations are used to implement <br /> the B-2 (Community Business)zone. Therefore,the current 4.1 (Neighborhood Business) <br /> designation is not consistent with the existing B-2 zone. The 4.2 map designation has been <br /> recommended by the Planning Commission for this long-standing commercial area. <br /> 2. Have circumstances changed? <br /> Response: No. <br /> 3. Are there any erroneous assumptions or new information? <br /> Response: A determination has been made that the current 4.1 map designation is not consistent <br /> with the existing zoning. <br /> 4. Will the change promote a more desirable land use pattern? <br /> Response: No change in land use would occur as a result of this action. <br /> - 5-.- - - - Should the-proposed land use designation-be applied to other properties in the vicinity? <br /> Would approval of this application constitute a granting of special privilege? <br /> Response: No. <br /> 6.
