25 <br /> Exhibit A-1 <br /> Scope of Work <br /> Project No. Surveying Services <br /> 1 The Contractor agrees to furnish the services•f a licensed professional land surveyor(PT,S)and appropriate <br /> technical support/survey field p connel to provide on-call survey services for the City as defined by the Task <br /> Assignment Scope of Services <br /> 7 The survey crew shall work onan "as Requested"basis only,as determined by the City's Project Manager or <br /> the Construction Fogineer Tf the Contractor is not in a position to provide the survey crew at the time requested <br /> by the City,the Contractor may decline the request without prejudice <br /> 3 Prior to mutual acceptance of a task assignment,the Contractor will prepare a written itemized cost estimate <br /> for the requestedservices <br /> 4 The survey crew shall he supervised by a licensed PTS and shall coordinate with the Project Manager or <br /> Corrstnrctinn Engineer,as required,to ensiireall required surveying, in the task assi.nment,is performed as <br /> requested by the City <br /> S The survey party chief shall he responsible to keep all notes in a city-furniched survey hook and shall record a <br /> daydo-day report of all survey activities Said survey book shall he returned to the City Projec Manager or <br /> Construction Engineer at the completion of the work Survey field notes shall conform to the requirements of the <br /> most recent edition of the"Survey and CAD Standards for the City of Everett" <br /> 6 A 11 survey drawings,cross sections,and profiles shall he prepared in AutoCAT)in accordance with the most <br /> recent edition of the"Survey and CAD Standards forthe City of Everett" <br /> 7 The Surveyor shall schedule and meet with the City CAD mana.c-r prior to heg.nning any survey work to <br /> establish control,required standards, electronic exchangestandards(Exhibit C),and to pick up a field book This <br /> meeting is required for each tack assignment <br /> Documents To Be Furnished By The Consultant <br /> 1 Completed (city-furnished)field book <br /> Survey deliverables will typically include• <br /> a Orig.nal drawings on 22"X'34"reproducible media (mylar) <br /> b Electronic drawing files in Civil 3D,or AlitoCAD "dwg"format_ <br /> c Point files including point# northing,easting, elevation, and description <br /> ci Tann]XMT.files <br /> e Any digital terrain model file (eg• DTM,DEM,etc) generated from the asci•ned work <br /> DOT Form 140-089 EF Exhibit A-1 <br /> Revised 6/05 <br /> 230 <br />
