The agreement specifies monthly rental payments that Dog Day Afternoon remits. Amendment Number Two modifies the total rental payment Dog Day Afternoon makes in 2012. Due to reduced registrations within the two local little leagues, and game location changes away from Phil Johnson Ballfield and Kasch Ballfields,revenues for Dog Day Afternoon are projected to decrease by 27%this year. Therefore,the Parks Department recommends reducing Dog Day Afternoon's rental payments for 2012 from $13,124 to $9,600. The monthly payments for 2012 will be: May and June $1,640.42; July—October $1,579.69. The Director of the Parks and Recreation Department may amend the yearly total and monthly payment amounts due under the remaining term of the Agreement by letter agreement. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment Two to the agreement with Dog Day Afternoon to use City property for concession services. 287
