on-street parking. The results of that analysis are not complete; however,the preliminary indication is that it would not create an undesirable impact on the on-street parking. If the Commission initiates consideration of the requested amendment, it is not a commitment to pport the amendment. The purpose is to begin a process where the City can get the amendmen o a public notification and review of property owners in the area. In the meantime,the City can co 4 ete the analysis, and begin review of redevelopment potential along that part of the corridor. Wit he adoption of the Downtown Plan in 2006,the City removed the off street parking requirements fo' on-residential uses which encouraged the reuse of buildings in downtown core.
