(Ord. 295-74 <br /> Ch. 1 § 1, 1974) <br /> 5.04.020 Purpose. • <br /> The licenses provided for herein shall be for the purpose of regulation. The provisions of this title shall be <br /> deemed an exercise of the police power of the state and of the city for the protection of the public, <br /> economic and social welfare, health, peace and morals, and all of its provisions shall be liberally <br /> construed for the accomplishment of that purpose. (Ord. 295-74 Ch. 1 § 2, 1974) <br /> 5.04.030 General requirements for all licenses. <br /> A. The general requirements relating to all licenses in this title are as follows: <br /> 1. No person shall make false statements in the application; <br /> 2. No license shall enable any person to engage in any dishonest, unlawful or unfair act, practice or <br /> enterprise; <br /> 3. The applicant must comply with the requirements of the ordinances relating to zoning, building, fire <br /> hazards, health and sanitation; <br /> 4. The applicant must be in compliance with all applicable federal, state or other licensing and/or permit <br /> requirements. <br /> B.
