12 <br />City <br />AMENDMENT NO.4 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF EVERETT <br />AND <br />CNJA ARCHITECTS <br />The City and CNJA Architects agree to amend and modify their professional services agreement <br />dated January 3, 2012 (the "Agreement") as follows: <br />WHEREAS, CNJA Architects and the City of Everett entered into an agreement on January 3, <br />2012 ("Agreement") to provide Architectural and Engineering services for the Fire <br />Administration Complex — Building Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties amended the Agreement on April 2, 2013 to add to the scope of work <br />and to increase the total compensation; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties amended the Agreement on May 21,2014 to revise the scope of work to <br />change the use of the Fire Administration Building into a Fire Department Warehouse and to <br />increase the total compensation and to revise the completion date to March 31, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties amended the agreement on September 9, 2014 to revise the scope of <br />work to include a new heating system and to increase the maximum compensation to $140,795 <br />and to revise the completion date to July 31, 2015. <br />WHEREAS, work is not yet complete on the Fire Administration Complex — Building <br />Improvement Project for which CNJA Architects provided Architectural and Engineering <br />Services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett desires continued assistance from CNJA Architects for such <br />services for the project; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City of Everett and CNJA Architects agree to amend their Agreement - - <br />to extend the time of completion from July 31, 2015 to November 30, 2015; <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City and CNJA Architects agree to amend and modify the previously <br />amended Agreement as follows: <br />Paragraph 3 of the Agreement is amended as follows: <br />3. Time of Beginning and Completion of Performance. This Agreement shall commence <br />as of the date of execution of this Agreement and shall be completed by November 30, <br />2015. <br />2.
