<br />WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Planning Commission ("planning
<br />commissioW) was provided information on f=inal docket XVII, Including the EVR1 — City
<br />of Everett proposal, in study sess€ons and tariefirqjs field on May 13, 2014, and
<br />Septemlyar 9, 2014; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to chapter 30.14 SCC, PEAS completed Fibril review and
<br />evaluation of Final Docket XV11, including the EVRI — City of Everett proposal, and
<br />fmiarded recornmend.ations to the planning commission; and
<br />WHEREAS, the planning commission held a public hearing and received pudic
<br />testimony on Final Docket XV'll, including the EVR1— City of Everett proposal, on
<br />October 7, 2014; and
<br />WHEREAS, on October 14, 2014, the planning commission completed
<br />deliberations on Find Docket Xtill, including the EVR1- City of Everett proposal, and
<br />recommended adoption of they EVR1 — City of Everett proposal as enumerated In its
<br />recommendation letter of Cacernber 4, 2014; and
<br />WHEREAS, on May 13, 2015 and aentinued to June 10, 2015, the Snohomish
<br />County Council Heid a public hearing, after proper notion, to hear publio testimony an
<br />this ordinance and con,€der the entire record, Including the planning commission's
<br />recommendation, on Final Docket XVII and dio EVR1—City ©f Everett proposal.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED:
<br />Section 1. The county council makes the following findings:
<br />A. The county council adapts and incorporates the foregoing recitals as findings as if
<br />set foah fully herein,
<br />B. The EVR1— City of Everett proposal would revise the SoLdiwest Urb2n GrovAh Area
<br />(UGA) to add 21 acres of lana that will remain designated on th? Future Land Use
<br />ft+lap (FLUNI) of fila General volley Plan (GPP) as R veiAvay Commercial f=armland
<br />(RCF) and will remaln zoned Agriculture -10 Acre (A-10). Tile proposal would not
<br />result in a net Incressa in rc*ndential or aniplayment 1,11, d- capac t+7.
