None of the buried tiebacks along Segment A(141h street or the diagonal <br /> portion of the wall) had been exposed at the time of the site visit. <br /> By the time we arrived onsite the Contractor had already cleaned the rust off of the tieback rods and <br /> nuts with a wire wheel, and installed the grease behind the nuts. Figure 1 shows the cleaned and <br /> greased tieback anchor.There was no evidence of heavy corrosion or pitting of either the nut or the <br /> tierod. <br />
