An <br /> example of this surface defect is shown in Figure 7.This was pointed out to the Contractor and the Port. <br /> MTC was consulted regarding the cause of this defect,which is caused by trapped bleed water below <br /> the surface of the concrete during finishing. This defect is localized along the 14th Street overhang and <br /> occurs in multiple areas over the finished surface. <br /> ,,,' 8 <br />
