CITY OF EVERETT <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> Downtown Historic Building Assessment and Public Workshop <br /> Exhibit A—Scope of Work <br /> The Scope of Work encompasses the following tasks: <br /> Task Budget <br /> 1. Meeting with City staff to finalize scope of work, schedule, deliverables and $ 2,453 <br /> costs; execute City of Everett Professional Services Agreement. The City will <br /> provide GIS data files, other information as requested, printing, coordination of <br /> meetings and all public noticing. <br /> 2. Conduct field work with site photos and notes; buildings to be assessed shall be $ 788 <br /> within the Hewitt Avenue National Register Historic District or may include <br /> Buildings listed in the Everett Register within the downtown core. <br /> 3. Assessed buildings shall be contributing to the district or potentially <br /> contributing(if the proposed improvements to a non-contributing building may <br /> result in a contributing building). <br /> 4. Select buildings based on fieldwork; submit preliminary list and report outline $ 650 <br /> to the City and Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation(DAHP). <br /> 5. Develop ten building assessments to address the cleaning, repair, rehabilitation $ 3,113 <br /> or restoration of historic materials and features consistent with the Secretary of <br /> the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic properties and applicable <br /> Preservation Briefs. Assessment may be limited to the front elevation or most <br /> prominent public side of the building. <br /> 6. Prepare Draft Report/Toolkit of the findings with information provided in an $ 3,750 <br /> illustrated report geared toward a public audience. <br /> 7. Present First Draft Report/Toolkit to the Everett Historical Commission on April $ 978 <br /> 25, 2017. <br /> 8. Submit First Draft Report/Toolkit to the City and DAHP by May 5, 2017 for $ 495 <br /> review and comment; incorporate City and DAHP comments. <br /> 9. Submit Second Draft Report/Toolkit to the City and DAHP by July 14, 2017 for $ 595 <br /> review and comment; incorporate City and DAHP comments. <br /> 10. Conduct one workshop with the Historical Commission and public to deliver the $ 1,853 <br /> findings of the contractor and provide education about historic materials to <br /> building owners. The contractor shall be the main speaker at the workshop and <br /> shall afford the public an opportunity to ask questions about the assessment. <br /> 11. Prepare and submit the Final Report/Toolkit to the City and DAHP by August 15, $ 325 <br /> 2017. <br /> Total $15,000 <br />
