ARTICLE 22 - COMPENSATORY TIME <br /> 22.1 Accrual. <br /> 22.1.1 An employee, subject to the approval of the Chief of Police or designee, may <br /> receive compensatory time in lieu of overtime pay at the rate of one and one-half <br /> (1.5) hours for each hour worked. The maximum accumulation of compensatory <br /> time is eighty (80) hours. Any time earned above the maximum compensatory <br /> time accrual will be paid as overtime. <br /> 22.2 Cash out. <br /> 22.2.1 During the first pay period of June of each year, employees may cash out all or <br /> part of their accumulated compensatory time. During the first pay period of <br /> December of each year, the employer shall cash out all of the employee's <br /> accumulated compensatory time. <br /> EVERETT POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION <br /> PAGE 33 <br />
