EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> CITY OF EVERETT WASHINGTON <br /> HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN-2017 <br /> Scope of work to update the Everett Hazards Mitigation Plan(Complete description) <br /> This scope has three elements that will perform over three academic quarters beginning in January 2017 and being <br /> completed in October 2017. <br /> 1. Planning Process <br /> 2. Mitigation Strategy Development <br /> 3. Plan Maintenance <br /> The product will be a plan that meets Washington State and FEMA guidance. <br /> 1. Administer and document appropriate Planning Process: §201.6(b)and§201.6(c)(1) <br /> a. Provide narrative description of the process followed to prepare the updated plan <br /> b. List who was involved in the updating process and implementing original plan. <br /> c. Provide opportunity for neighboring communities,agencies,businesses,academia,nonprofits,and other <br /> interested parties to be involved in the planning process. <br /> d. Review and incorporation,if appropriate,of existing plans,studies,reports,and technical information. <br /> e. Document how the planning team reviewed and analyzed each section of the plan and whether each section <br /> was revised as part of the update process. <br /> 2. Identify,assess,prioritize,and offer implementation measures for recommended mitigation strategy. <br /> Evaluate strategies recommended in past plan. <br /> a. Revisit Hazard Mitigation Goals: §201.6(c)(3)(i) <br /> b. Identification and Analysis of Mitigation Actions(past and suggested as a part of Update): §201.6(c)(3)(ii) <br /> c. Identification and Analysis of Mitigation Actions: NFIP Compliance. §201.6(c)(3)(ii) <br /> d. Implementation of Mitigation Actions: §201.6(c)(3)(iii) <br /> 3. Develop plan maintenance process.
