J <br /> B. The Department Head shall determine an amount necessary to insure <br /> proper performance of clean up subsequent to the applicant's event and shall <br /> require the applicant to deposit that amount with the City prior to a Banquet and <br /> Rental Permit being issuedThe applicant must deposit a sum of one hundred <br /> dollars($100)to insure proper performance of cleanup by the applicant <br /> subsequent to the event for which the banquet and rental permit is issued_; <br /> C. The applicant must affirm in writing that the attendance at the function for <br /> which the banquet and rental permit is issued is not pursuant to a general <br /> invitation to the public but pursuant to invitations either to specifically named <br /> persons or to actual members of the applicant's organization;provided, that the <br /> City Council may waive this requirement by resolution upon a showing by the <br /> that adequate provisions have been made to accommodate the anticipated number <br /> of persons who would attend the function for which the banquet and rental permit <br /> is issued. <br /> • <br /> D. The applicant must agrees that he or she willto indemnify and save the <br /> City harmless from all losses or damages occasioned by the applicant to him or <br /> her to any third person or property by reason of any acts or omissions of the <br /> applicant or anyone using the premises pursuant to the banquet Banquet and rental <br /> Rental permitPermit, and the applicant he or she shall, after reasonable notice <br /> thereof, defend and pay the expense of any suit which may be commenced against <br /> the City by any third person alleging injury or loss by reason.of such acts. <br /> Section 5. • <br /> A new section is hereby added to Chapter 10.42,to read as follows: <br /> Permit to Use City Property for Liquor Purposes <br /> Subject to the conditions of this section, Department Heads may authorize, by <br /> issuing a City Liquor Permit,regular use of City owned property for the <br /> possession, display, sale, and/or consumption of liquor. A City Liquor Permit <br /> shall be issued on the following conditions: <br /> A. The City Council must have approved,by motion,resolution, or <br /> ordinance,the use of the specific City property for liquor purposes. The City <br /> Liquor Permit must not authorize liquor use of City property beyond that <br /> approved by the City Council. <br /> Page 9 of 11 <br /> 16 <br />
