That Grant <br /> Agreement was effective from September 5,2011,to September 5, 2012. The Lowell Civic Association has <br /> made substantial progress toward completing the project but seeks a time extension to April 30, 2013. <br /> Modification of the contract does not grant any additional funds but gives the Civic Association additional <br /> time to complete the project. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to Grant Agreement with the Lowell Civic Association. <br /> 27 <br />
