EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA 6:30 P.M., WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2012 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: October 10, 2012 Mayor's Comments Council Comments City Attorney Citizen Comments BRIEFING: (1) CB 1210-47 — 1st Reading — Adopt the Proposed Ordinance levying the general taxes for the City of Everett for fiscal year commencing January 1, 2013, on all taxable property, both real and personal, subject to taxation thereon, for the purpose of raising a portion of the revenue to carry on City operations for the ensuing year, as required by the charter of the City of Everett and the laws of the State of Washington (3rd and final reading and public hearing on 10-31-12) (2) Award RFP 2012-006 for Everett TV Broadcast Equipment Replacement.and Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Erik Utter and Associates in the amount of $404,952.75 including Washington State Sales Tax (3) Select IMCO General Construction as General Contractor/Construction Manager for WPCF Expansion -Phase C and Authorize the Mayor to sign the Preconstruction Services Contract with IMCO for $875,141.00 in substantially the form provided CONSENT ITEMS: (4) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $2,100,137.34 for the period of September 29, 2012 through October 5, 2012 (5) Authorize the closure of various streets around the Everett Memorial Stadium on October 27, 2012, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., for the 25th Annual Puget Sound Festival of Bands High School Marching Band Competition sponsored by the Cascade High School Band and Color Guard Boosters with the condition that the Everett Police Department control the intersection of 38th and Broadway (6) Accept the Water Pollution Control Facility Phase B-2A Improvements Project as complete and authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion with I & E Construction allowing the release of the City held retainage AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE
