Financial Assistance Water Quality Project Goals: The overall goals of this project are <br /> focused on the protection of Snohomish River and include one or more of the following: <br /> ® Stormwater System Retrofit <br /> (1 Low Impact Development Best Management Practices(BMP) <br /> Fl Designated beneficial uses will be restored or protected,303(d)-Listed water bodies <br /> restored to water quality standards,healthy waters prevented from being degraded. <br /> • <br /> B. Water Quality and Environmental Outcomes: The following are the anticipated water <br /> quality and environmental improvements from the project: <br /> 1. Reduce combined sewer discharge to the Snohomish River <br /> 2. Reduce total suspended solids and fecal coliform loading to the Snohomish River <br /> and Puget Sound. <br /> C. Performance Items and Deliverables: The following are the anticipated action items that <br /> will play an integral role in implementation of the project. <br /> 1. Install flow splitter(s). • <br /> 2. Tnsta11 treatment vault(s) and stormwater treatment unit(s). <br /> 3. Install collection network. <br /> PART V. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Task 1 -Project Administration/Management • <br /> A. The RECIPIENT will administer the project: Responsibilities will include,but not be <br /> limited to: maintenance of project records; submittal of payment vouchers,fiscal forms, <br /> and progress reports;compliance with applicable procurement, contracting,and interlocal <br /> agreement requirements; application for,receipt of,and compliance with all required <br /> permits, licenses,easements,or property rights necessary for the project; and submittal of <br /> required performance items. <br /> B. The RECIPIENT must manage the project. Efforts will include:, conducting, <br /> coordinating, and scheduling project activities and assuring quality control.
