KLB <br /> Construction, Inc., of Mukilteo, WA, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of <br /> $1,073,097.60. This project will construct a pedestrian trail along the Riverfront Development site, between <br /> 41st Street and 36th Street. The project also includes construction of a sanitary sewer force main within the <br /> trail prism, for future connection by Oliver McMillan, storm drainage improvements, and wetland mitigation <br /> along the former BNSF railroad corridor. <br /> The sources of funds for this project are: <br /> Fund 338—Department of Commerce $479,242.40 <br /> Fund 336—Utilities $452,292.20 <br /> Fund 308—General Fund $141,563.00 <br /> Total $1,073,097.60 <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Award the bid for the Riverfront Development—Railroad Corridor Trail &Enhanced Drainage Channel <br /> Project to KLB Construction, Inc. in the amount of$ 1,073,097.60,including Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> 1 <br />
