(Brusco)supports the Everett Planning Commission's recent recommended
zoning option for the former Kimberly Clark site. As a marine employer operating in ports along the
entire United States West Coast, Brusco knows that the Kimberly Clark site near the Port of Everett is
uniquely positioned to complement the industrial activities already occurring at the Port and Naval
facilities.
Brusco has been an integral part of the Everett waterfront since 2008, employing both union and non-
union employees with family wage jobs with average benefits in excess of$85,000 per employee, per
year. Operating ship assist tugboat services as well as container barging between the Port and Mukilteo,
Brusco believes that the recommended redevelopment plan for the site promotes much needed
economic growth while also protecting the natural environment, both of which help make Everett a
great place to work and live.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Kevin Campbell
Director, Port Operations
"The Best in Service"
