ARTICLE 16 - LIBRARY PAGES
Section 1:
Library Pages perform a variety of tasks throughout the Library. Library page work is not
seasonal in nature and for this reason the only limitation on employment duration is funding
capacity and performance.
A. Library Pages shall be compensated at the hourly rate schedule identified in Article 7
and Appendix 1. Step increases shall occur consistent with other regular part-time employees.
B. Library Pages shall accrue holiday, sick leave, vacation time, longevity, and all other
benefits on a pro-rated basis based on regular hours worked, with the exception of medical
insurance (unless required by law), life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment
coverage as outlined in Article 12. Library Pages shall be covered by all provisions of this
Collective Bargaining Agreement, unless otherwise specified.
C. The Library Director shall determine appropriate work shifts for Library Pages.
Page 36
