Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and General construction work has been performed throughout this house. Much of <br /> this work is incomplete and not code compliant.This work has been conducted without required permits and approvals <br /> and is therefore Unlawful (IPMC 106.1 and IPMC 108.1.4.) Some of this work is unsafe as defined by code. (IPMC <br /> 108.1.1 and IPMC 108.1.2) <br /> 2. Structural alterations have been made to the house including the removal of walls, some of these walls are load <br /> bearing supporting walls. Main floor beams have been installed that are too small to support the floor system.This <br /> work has compromised the structural integrity of the building. <br /> 3. Electrical alterations and installations have been made to the electrical system throughout the building. Numerous <br /> unsafe conditions were observed including exposed, energized and unprotected electrical conductors and equipment. <br /> The condition of the electrical system that serves this building is Unsafe as defined by code (section 108.1.2) <br /> 4. Plumbing and Mechanical alterations have been made to the structure including the installation of a bathroom and <br /> kitchen in the cellar of the building. Much of his work is not code compliant and is faulty. (IPMC 504.1) <br /> In summary,this building is Unlawful and Unsafe as defined by Code. <br /> The electrical system that serves this structure should be made safe by a State licensed Electrical Contractor or the <br /> electrical system should be disconnected by the utility company.The building should be made secure from entry and <br /> remain vacant until repairs have been made.
