7 <br /> 10. SEVERABILITY.Nothing in this Agreement is intended to conflict with current laws <br /> or regulations,or the directives of the Coast Guard or DRS.If a term of this Agreement is <br /> inconsistent with such authority,then that term will be invalid,but the remaining terms <br /> and conditions of this Agreement will remain in full force and effect. <br /> 11.NON-PUBLICATION.The•Other Government Agency shall not issue nor permit to <br /> be issued any press release,advertisement,or literature of any kind,which refers to the <br /> Seattle Police Department or to the fact that goods have been,are being or will be <br /> provided to it and/or that services have been,are being or will be performed for it in <br /> connection with this Agreement, unless the Other Government Agency first obtains the <br /> written approval of the Seattle Police Department. Such approval may be withheld if for <br /> any reason the Seattle Police Department believes that the publication of such <br /> information would be harmful to the public interest or is in any way undesirable. Any <br /> public disclosure shall be made in compliance with the Washington State Public Records <br /> Act codified within RCW 42.56 and Federal Law,if applicable.This paragraph does not <br /> apply to the Coast Guard,and the limitations contained herein do not in any way restrict <br /> the ability of the Coast Guard to print literature,advertise,or release press statements <br /> regarding this Agreement or its contents. <br /> 12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT.This Agreement and its appendices represents the entire <br /> agreement between the parties on the subject matter.All prior agreements, <br /> representations,statements,negotiations,and understandings shall have no effect. <br /> 13. APPENDICES.The Appendices referred to in this Agreement are an integral part of <br /> this Agreement and have the same legal effect as this Agreement, The parties to this <br /> Agreement execute this agreement in contemplation of additional appendices. <br /> 14.EFFECTIVE DATE. This agreement becomes effective as to the Seattle Police <br /> Department and the Coast Guard on Signature by both parties. This agreement becomes <br /> effective as to each Other Government Agency upon each agency's signature of its <br /> Appendix to this•Agreement. • <br /> • <br /> 15. AMENDMENT AND SUPPLEMENT.Any amendment or supplement to this <br /> Agreement shall be effected only by written agreement signed by the Coast Guard and <br /> the Seattle Police Department and the Other Government Agencies affected by the <br /> proposed amendment or supplement. <br /> 16.REPORTING REQUIREMENTS.There are no other reporting requirements other <br /> than those set forth in this agreement and their appendices. <br /> 17.VENUE.The venue-for any cause of action arising out of this agreement shall be <br /> King County,Washington. This paragraph does not apply to the Coast Guard. <br /> 18.TERMINATION. Any party may terminate this Agreement for any reason upon 90 <br /> days written notice to the non-terminating parties. <br /> 41 <br />
