RESOLUTION NO. 6201 <br /> A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE LISTED VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT <br /> SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THEIR DISPOSITION <br /> WHEREAS, the City currently has the following vehicles in its fleet: H0017; a 1998 Ford <br /> New Holland TS 110 Tractor, J0033; a 1999 Ford F800 Dump Truck; and <br /> WHEREAS, the above-referenced vehicles are no longer of value or use to the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for surplusing or <br /> disposition of City-owned personal property; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance 2963-06, a public <br /> auction is the disposition method that best meets the City's interests; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the estimated value <br /> of the surplus property and has recommended surplusing the above-referenced vehicles and <br /> equipment by public auction. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT: <br /> 1. The vehicles and equipment numbered H001 and J0033 are no longer of value or use to <br /> the City and therefore are declared surplus personal property; and <br /> 2. The disposition of these vehicles and equipment at a Public Auction conducted by <br /> James G.
