RESOLUTION No. 6 2 3 3 <br /> A Resolution declaring the listed vehicles and equipment surplus and <br /> authorizing their disposition. <br /> Whereas,the City currently has the following vehicles in its fleet: <br /> J0018, a 1996 Ford F800 Dump Truck: J0042, a 1999 <br /> Ford F800 Dump Truck; and <br /> Whereas,the above-referenced vehicles are no longer of value or use to <br /> the City; and <br /> Whereas, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for <br /> surplusing or disposition of City-owned personal property; and <br /> Whereas,based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance <br /> 2963-06, a public auction is the disposition method that best meets the <br /> City's interests; and <br /> Whereas,the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the <br /> estimated value of the surplus property and has recommended surplusing <br /> the above-referenced vehicles and equipment by public auction. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of <br /> the City of Everett: <br /> 1. The vehicles and equipment numbered J0018 and J0042, are no longer <br /> of value or use to the City and therefore are declared surplus personal <br /> property; and <br /> 2. The disposition of these vehicles and equipment at a Public Auction <br /> conducted by James G.
