I ICITY OF EVERETT,WASHINGTON SPECIFICATIONS FOR HAYES STREET REGULATOR AND CSO CONTROLS(SRO1,SRO2,AND SRO3) WORK ORDER#UP 3398-31 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS I Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the HAYES STREET REGULATOR AND CSO CONTROLS (SRO1, SRO2, AND SRO3) will be received by the City Clerk at the City Clerk's Office, 1st Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the eighth (8th) floor hearing room at the Wall Street Building. The engineer's estimate for this project is $3,750,000. IWork being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct approximately 550 LF of new combined sewer pipe (30-inch to 72-inch dia.); removal of approximately 325 LF of existing combined sewer pipe (30-inch to 48- inch dia.); construction of five (5) separate underground flow regulator, screening, or monitoring concrete vaults; structural modifications within a large existing underground concrete siphon- pipe headworks facility, including demolition of the above-ground entry structure; manhole furnish and install mechanical screen equipment system at lift station #9; installation of I temporary flow diversion and bypass systems; approximately 180 LF of existing 8-inch gravity sanitary sewer relocation and service re-connects; electrical power and control ductbanks; construction of approximately 600 LF of new 24-foot wide paved access drive; existing street and site asphalt pavement restoration; permanent fence installation, landscaping and performing all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Plans and Contract Provisions. 1 Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project may be viewed on line at http://www.everettwa.org/bidscontracts/bids.asp I Plan sets may also be purchased for reproduction costs at Bill's Blueprints (425-259-0859) at 2920 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. t For technical questions regarding this project, contact David Voigt, Project Engineer, City of Everett, at 425-257-8983. All proposals must be made upon the regular forms provided in the Proposal Section of the contract documents, with unit prices and totals. The proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than 5%of the bidder's total bid amount. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City.
