16, <br />OP.DINAT*ICE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, <br />"Broadway 10th St. to 19th St. Intersection Safety," Fund 303, <br />Program 104, to accumulate all costs for the improvement. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned pedestrian safety program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and obtained funds to construct certain <br />pedestrian improvements to federal arterial street segments; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br />Section 1: <br />A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 104, entitled <br />"Broadway 10th St. to 19th St. Intersection Safety," to accumulate all costs for the <br />improvement. <br />Section 2: <br />Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fused 303, <br />Program 104, for the improvement project. <br />Section 3: <br />Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director" or "City Engineer.- under <br />direction of the Mayor, to assume Rill and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and <br />doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br />Section 4: <br />The sum of $608,987 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 104, "Broadit:ay 10th St. -to <br />19th St. Intersection Sa_ety," as follows: <br />A.
