A City -owned F450 work truck collided with the rear of plaintiff's stopped <br />vehicle. It was a significant impact that caused injury to plaintiff. Injuries included shoulder, arm, back, <br />neck and head pain for which treatment was sought. This settlement, in the amount of $55,000, includes a <br />full release for any and all claims arising from this event. Outside counsel and this office recommend <br />approval of this settlement. <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br />Approve the Lawsuit Settlement of Pan v. City of Everett, Cause No. 15-2-01792-4, in the amount of <br />S55.000. <br />
