Human and methods <br /> health is improved by park facilities providing opportunities to <br /> exercise and reduce stress. Economic development is <br /> enhanced by the proximity of parks and facilities improving <br /> home values and increasing tourism. Transportation can be <br /> improved by providing alternative routes to schools, homes <br /> and business reducing urban pollution of air and water. <br /> An evaluation of sustainability as part of each development <br /> helps the city plan for the best solution and reduce impacts on <br /> future generations by integrating building materials and <br /> methods that promote environmental quality, economic vitality, <br /> and social benefit through the design, construction and <br /> operation of our parks. <br /> 11 <br />
