RESOLUTION NO. 6301 <br /> A RESOLUTION for the proposed vacation of that portion o 4001660. <br /> lying west of Grand Avenue. _ <br /> WHEREAS,the owners of more than two-thirds of the front footage of that portion of 11`h Street <br /> lying west of Grand Avenue, legally described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 16, Block 224, Plat of The Heights <br /> Addition to Everett recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, Page 40, records of <br /> Snohomish County, Washington; Thence easterly along the north line of said Lot <br /> 16 and the easterly projection thereof a distance of 145feet to intersect the west <br /> line of Grand Avenue right of way, said west line of Grand Avenue right of way <br /> being resultant of City of Everett Ordinance #89 approved on January 24, 1894, <br /> in which the westerly 10 feet of Grand Avenue was vacated; Thence northerly <br /> and parallel with the east right of way line of Grand Avenue a distance of 80 feet <br /> to intersect the easterly projected south line of Lot 1, Block 213, Plat of The <br /> Heights Addition to Everett; Thence westerly along the easterly projected south <br /> line of Lot 1 a distance of 10 feet to intersect the southeast corner of said Lot 1; <br /> Thence continuing westerly along the south line of Lot la distance of 137.71 feet <br /> to intersect the southwest corner of said Lot 1 and the west line of said Plat of <br /> The Heights Addition to Everett; Thence southerly along the west line of said <br /> Plat of The Heights Addition to Everett a distance of 80 feet to the point of <br /> beginning. <br /> have petitioned for the vacation of said right of way; and <br /> WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 provides that City Council shall, by resolution, fix a date for <br /> public hearing on said petition; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that a public hearing be set for October 66, 2010, at 6:30 p.m., in the City Council <br /> Chambers, City Hall, at 0! .. .--"' -nue, • -insider the proposed vacation of aforesaid <br /> right-of-way as h- 'n .- ri.ed. <br /> 4 <br /> AAUP 411 <br /> Cou ci son • ro.uci g 'esolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 25th day of August , 2010. <br /> Council Presiden <br />
