/1 <br /> EL/El?ETT <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 6 2 9 8 <br /> A RESOLUTION declaring the City's intent to accept a <br /> gift from ARF Animal Rescue Foundation in the amount of$40,000, <br /> donated to the Everett Animal Shelter. <br /> WHEREAS, ARF Animal Rescue Foundation offered to donate, up to $40,000, towards the <br /> purchase of surgery equipment for the spay/neuter clinic in the new Everett Animal Shelter; and <br /> WHEREAS, the cost of equipping the Everett Animal Shelter spay/neuter clinic exceeded $40,000 <br /> and ARF has offered to make a cash donation not to exceed$40,000; and <br /> WHEREAS, EMC 2.105.020 grants the Mayor authority to conditionally accept gifts of personal <br /> property and the Mayor does recommend acceptance of this gift of $40,000 towards the Everett <br /> Animal Shelter spay/neuter clinic; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that the City of Everett accepts the gift of $40,000 From ARF Animal Rescue <br /> Foundation towards the cost of equipping the spay/neuter clinic located at the Everett Animal <br /> Shelter.. <br /> Cou�,��,/� rsIntro_ ucing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this llthlay of August 2010. <br /> Co 7 cil Presid:f l' <br />
