ENGINEERING / PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION DATE: January 11, 2006 LOCATION: 2901 16`" Street SUBJECT: Preschool program within the Delta Community Baptist Church building. ACTION: The preschool program is determined to be an accessory use area. There is no change of use or permit required for this program — provided it continues to comply with the findings and parameters as stated below. Note that this determination supersedes the previous August 18, 2005 decision. FINDINGS: • The classes are for three hours each, twice a week. • There will be two staff members supervising a maximum of 12 children. • The egress system has been reviewed. Exit signs and door hardware have been revised as required per previous inspection findings. • The program is consistent with the provisions of Section 303.1. This use is analogous to a religious education room with the only exception being the subject matter taught. • No children in this preschool may be less than 2.5 years of age. • Any further additional capacity may only be addressed through the permit process.
