All references refer to the 2012 International Building Code (IBC), the 2012 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2012 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2012 International Energy Conservation (IECC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. 1. This should include but not be limited to; • The requirement for an approved automatic fire suppression system. IMC 509.1 (separate permit). • An exhaust flow label indicating the minimum exhaust flow rate in CFM per linear FT. of hood that provides for capture and containment of the exhaust effluent for the cooking appliances served by the hood. IMC 507.2. • Hood and duct materials. IMC 507.4, 507.6, 507.7. • Canopy size and location including the relationships to the cooking equipment. IMC 507.12. • Hood and duct clearances. IMC 507.9, 506.5.4 & 507. 10 • The requirement for a grease duct test.
