RESOLUTION No. 61 3 6 <br /> Resolution for Expenditure of 2011 Human Needs Funding <br /> WHEREAS,the City allocates funding each year to be used for human needs <br /> programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, $319,800 is included in the 2011 budget for this purpose; and <br /> WHEREAS, there exists in the community a call for monies to supplement human needs <br /> programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, for the agencies with multiple programs listed below (items 2, 4, 19, 22, <br /> and 23), the agency will allocate funding between the programs based on greatest need and other <br /> funding sources, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Needs Advisory Committee, formed to make annual <br /> recommendations to the City Council for allocation of these funds, has voted to recommend <br /> funding as listed below; <br /> 1. American Red Cross Snohomish County Chapter:Project PRIDE $9,000 <br /> 2. Arc of Snohomish County: Counseling and Guidance, Shelter/Food, and $22,000 <br /> Health Services <br /> 3. Boys & Girls Clubs: Kids' Cafe $3,500 <br /> 4. Bridgeways: Supported Employment Program, Outpatient Mental $20,000 <br /> Health Services, Outreach Program, and Transitional Housing <br /> 5. Catholic Community Services: Volunteer Chore Services $7,500 <br /> 6. Catholic Community Services: Family and Children's Services $5,500 <br /> 7. Cocoon House: Transitional Housing for Teens $6,000 <br /> 8. Cocoon House: Emergency Shelter for Teens $23,100 <br /> 9. Community Health Center:Health Services for Uninsured, Low Income $6,000 <br /> &Homeless Youth <br /> 10. Compass Health: Youth Counseling at Cocoon House $23,000 <br /> 11. Compass Health: Bailey Peer Center $7,000 <br /> 12. Dawson Place Child Advocacy: Center Coordinator $17,000 <br /> 13. Deaconess Children's Services: Teen Parent Advocacy $8,000 <br /> 14. Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County: Children's Program $18,000 <br /> 15. ElderHealth Northwest:Adult Day Health Care $8,000 <br /> 16.
