WHEREAS, the Everett Historical Commission supports the proposal and recommends that City <br /> Council adopt a resolution supporting the proposal; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that it supports the inclusion of the area one-quarter mile landward of the saltwater <br /> shoreline of the city in the National Maritime Heritage Area as proposed by the Washington <br /> State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation in its feasibility study of April 2010. <br /> C• lmembe I ducing ILsolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED BY CITY COUNCIL this 8th day of June <br /> 2011. <br /> lr/ <br /> City Council President <br />
