SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION Requisition Item: TACTICS with C2C System Requisition Number: Prior Purchase Order Number(if item had been approved previously): 1. Please describe the item and its function: Everett operates approximately 180 traffic signals. These signals currently connect to a 30 year old central system that is no longer supported. Everett TACTICS is a new central control system that is compatible with city's new signal controllers. The TACTICS central control system will enable traffic light synchronization patterns,operate traffic patterns for events,and provide transit signal priority timing for Community Transit's Swift buses. Everett's TACTICS system will be connected to WSDOT's and Snohomish County's central control system in order to coordinate Swift BRT signal priority and synchronisation along the Swift's route on SR 99. 2.
