GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING REPORT
PROPOSED SILVER LAKE NORTH CELLULAR TOWER
ATC #281877, AT&T #SN4924
1810104 TH STREET SE
EVERETT, WASHINGTON
Terracon Project No. 81145043
October 24"', 2014
1.0 INTRODUCTION
A geotechnical exploration has been performed for the proposed SN4924 Silver Lake North
cellular tower to be constructed at 1810 104TH Street SE in Everett, Washington. One boring,
designated B-1, was drilled to a depth of approximately 41.5 feet below the existing ground
surface (bgs). This report presents our geotechnical recommendations for design and
construction of the foundations for the proposed tower and equipment shelter slab. A log of the
boring along with a Site Location Map and a Site and Exploration Plan are included in Appendix
A of this report.
The purpose of these services is to provide information and geotechnical engineering
recommendations relative to:
subsurface soil conditions ■ foundation design and construction
groundwater conditions ■ slab design and construction
earthwork ■ seismic considerations
field resistivity testing
2.0 PROJECT INFORMATION
2.1 Project Description
Item Description
Site layout See Appendix A, Exhibit A-2: Site and Exploration Plan.
Structure 60-foot tall monopole tower and a prefabricated equipment shelter
inside a 24'-6"x 36' fenced area.
Vertical: 30 kips (assumed)
Maximum tower loads Shear: 35 kips (assumed)
Moment: 3,000 kip-ft (assumed)
Grading Minimal grading within the lease pad area anticipated to be on the
order of approximately 1/2 to 1 foot.
Oprnnslve■ Resourceful■ Reliable 1
