RESOLUTION NO. 3841 A RESOLUTION of Intent to Annex certain property to the City of Everett. (Murphy's Corner Annexation) WHEREAS, the property to be annexed is located south of the City boundary south of Silver Lake, South to 132nd SE, and generally extends from 14th and 16th Avenues SE to 25th and 26th Avenues SE; provided, if prior to the Boundary Review Board hearing, it is determined that a negotiated agreement with Mill Creek is unsuccessful in establishing a boundary between the two cities, then the annexation's southern boundary will revert to the northern city limits of Mill Creek. (See map), and WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a petition for the above described property to the City of Everett; and WHEREAS, Council, after public hearing pursuant to RCW 35.13.140 and due consideration of public comment on the petition for annexation, is favorably disposed to this annexation; and WHEREAS, a notice of intent-pursuant to RCW 36.93.090 will be filed with the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board; and WHEREAS, Council may not take final action on the proposed annexation until the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board has issued a final determination on the proposed annexation. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: That the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board be advised that the Everett City Council is favorably disposed to the proposed annexation as described above, and That the Council intends to complete action on the proposed annexation after the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board has issued a final determination on the proposed annexation. It is further resolved that the City request the review with the Boundary Review Board and pay the $200 fee as soon as administratively possible to start the Boundary Review Board process as soon as possible. e„ geilip , Councilman Introducing Resolution PASSED AND APPROVED this 22nd of September , 1993.
