Resolution No. 3399 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON, <br /> ACCEPTING THE BID OF LUMPKIN, INC. AS THE MOST <br /> ADVANTAGEOUS BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE <br /> STATION NUMBER FOUR RECEIVED PURSUANT TO A CALL <br /> FOR PUBLIC BIDS; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br /> A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, GROUND LEASE, LEASE <br /> AND COMMITMENT LETTER IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH <br /> CONSTRUCTION; AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett (the "City") has heretofore <br /> issued a call for bids for the construction of Fire Station No. 4, <br /> by publication of notice thereof as required by law and by issuance <br /> of specifications for said project in the document entitled <br /> "Specifications; City of Everett Fire Station #4 ; MP Job No. <br /> 90023 . 00" dated August 22 , 1990 by Mithun Partners; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with said call for bids, bids were <br /> received and opened on October 11, 1990, at which time the sole bid <br /> received by the City was the bid of Lumpkin, Inc. ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of the City and the City <br /> Attorney have reviewed such bid and found it to be acceptable to <br /> the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the call for bids contemplates that Fire Station No. <br /> 4 shall be built upon real property owned by the City to be leased <br /> to the successful bidder, and bidders were therefore directed to <br /> include stated ground lease rental of $100 in their bids submitted <br /> to the City; and <br />
