I <br /> I1 1-08.0 Preliminary Matters <br /> 2 (May 25, 2006 APWA GSP) <br /> I 3 <br /> 4 1-08.0(1).RTF <br /> 5 <br /> I 6 Add the following new section: <br /> 7 <br /> 8 1-08.0(1) Preconstruction Conference <br /> 1 9 (October 10, 2008 APWA GSP) <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Prior to the Contractor beginning the work, a preconstruction conference will be <br /> 1 12 held between the Contractor, the Engineer and such other interested parties as <br /> 13 may be invited. The purpose of the preconstruction conference will be: <br /> 14 1. To review the initial progress schedule; <br /> 1 15 2. To establish a working understanding among the various parties associated <br /> 16 or affected by the work; <br /> 17 3. To establish and review procedures for progress payment, notifications, <br /> I18 approvals, submittals, etc.; <br /> 19 4. To establish normal working hours for the work; <br /> I20 5. To review safety standards and traffic control; and <br /> 21 6. To discuss such other related items as may be pertinent to the work. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 The Contractor shall prepare and submit at the preconstruction conference the <br /> I24 following: <br /> 25 1. A breakdown of all lump sum items; <br /> ' 26 <br /> 27 2. A preliminary schedule of working drawing submittals; and <br /> 3. A list of material sources for approval if applicable. <br /> 28 <br /> I 29 <br /> 30 1-08.0(2).RTF <br /> 31 Add the following new section: <br /> I 32 <br /> 33 1-08.0(2) Hours of Work <br /> 34 (December 8, 2014 APWA GSP) <br /> 35 <br /> I36 Except in the case of emergency or unless otherwise approved by the Engineer, <br /> 37 the normal working hours for the Contract shall be any consecutive 8-hour <br /> 38 period between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, exclusive of a <br /> I 39 lunch break. If the Contractor desires different than the normal working hours <br /> 40 stated above, the request must be submitted in writing prior to the <br /> 41 preconstruction conference, subject to the provisions below.
