i <br /> i <br /> SECTION 8-13 <br /> ' MONUMENT CASES <br /> ' SECTION 8-13 OF THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS IS DELETED AND <br /> REPLACED BY THE FOLLOWING: <br /> 1 8-13.1 Description <br /> This work consists of adjusting existing survey monument cases to grade in accordance with <br /> Standard Drawing No. 312 and these Special Provisions. <br /> 8-13.3 Construction Requirements <br /> 1 8-13.3(3)Adjust Existing Monument Casings to Grade <br /> Existing monument castings shall be adjusted to grade in the same manner as for manholes in <br /> ' Section 7-05.3(1) of these Special Provisions. <br /> 8-13.4 Measurement <br /> Measurement of monument case and cover will be by the unit for each monument case and cover <br /> furnished or set or adjusted. <br /> 1 8-13.5 Payment <br /> Payment will be made for the following bid item when included in the proposal: <br /> 1. "Adjust Existing Monument Casing to Grade"per each. <br /> The unit contract price for"Adjust Monument Casing to Grade" shall include all costs for <br /> raising or lowering the casing to finished grade and the construction of asphalt transition <br /> around the existing monument casing.
