8-27 UNIFORMED POLICE OFFICER <br /> Section 8-27 is vacant and is replaced with the following: <br /> (******) <br /> 8-27.1 Description <br /> 1 This Contractor shall provide a uniformed police officer for flagging activities at traffic <br /> signal controlled intersections as described in Section 1-10.1(2). <br /> 8-27.3 Construction Requirements <br /> ' The Contractor shall provide uniformed police control at any time a signalized <br /> intersection is dark or inoperative, such as during grinding or paving operations where <br /> the traffic signal must be put into flashing operation. Signalized intersections shall not <br /> be police controlled between the hours of 6:00am and 8:30am nor 12:00pm to 7:30pm, <br /> unless directed by the Engineer. <br /> Coordination of uniformed Police control shall be with the following personnel, listed in <br /> ' order of preference: <br /> 1.
