City of Everett Human Needs Grant <br /> January 1 through December 31, 2017 <br /> Volunteers of America Western Washington <br /> Homeless Services—Emergency Shelter <br /> EXHIBIT A: Program Summary <br /> VOA provides shelter, intensive case management and wrap around support services to Everett homeless <br /> families with children. The Homeless Services staff places clients in short-term emergency shelter utilizing <br /> motel vouchers, prepares them for entry into Maud's House, and develops housing stability plans to help <br /> families become self-sufficient.VOA provides shelter, intensive case management and wrap around support <br /> services to Everett homeless families with children. The Homeless Services staff places clients in short-term <br /> emergency shelter utilizing motel vouchers, prepares them for entry into Maud's House, and develops <br /> housing stability plans to help families become self-sufficient. Case management services are delivered one- <br /> on-one with each household served.These services are provided to households in emergency shelter three <br /> times each week for up to 30 days. Meetings will be held first in a City of Everett motel. Ongoing meetings <br /> will be held at an agreed upon location,either at Volunteers of America Western Washington's Wilson <br /> Building in North Everett, Maud House Shelter in Marysville, in motel settings,or other mutually agreed-upon <br /> locations. <br />
