Modify bid item 5 entitled, "Traffic Control Labor" at the <br /> contract unit price of$65.22 per hour, by adding 300 hours to the contract, for an increase to the <br /> contract in the amount of$19,566.00. <br /> Bid Item 6-Traffic Control Off-Duty Police Officer. Modify bid item 6 entitled, "Traffic Control <br /> Off-Duty Police Officer" at the contract unit price of$67.21 per hour, by adding 200 hoursto the <br /> contract, for an increase to the contract in the amount of$13,422.00. <br /> Bid Item 24-Temporary Pavement Patch. Delete bid item 24 entitled, "Temporary Paveent Patch" <br /> from the contract resulting in a decrease to the contract in the amount of$24,948.00. <br /> Bid Item 44-Roadway Plates. Add bid item 44 entitled, "Roadway Plates"at the lump sum price of <br /> $77,433.05, for an increase to the contract in the amount of$77,433.05. <br /> Reference Exhibit D for Summary of Changed Values <br /> Exhibit B—Justification: <br /> Bid Item 5-Traffic Control Labor. The bid item for Traffic Control Labor over ran the estimated <br /> amount in the contract and, as a result additional funds are needed to complete the project. <br /> Bid Item 6-Traffic Control Off-Duty Police Officer. The bid item for Traffic Control Labor Off- <br /> Duty Officer over ran the estimated amount in the contract and, as a result additional funds are needed <br /> to complete the project. <br /> Bid Item 24-Temporary Pavement Patch. To accommodate daily lane opening requirements <br /> regardless of weather conditions roadway plates were utilized therefore Temporary Pavement Patching <br /> was not conducted. <br /> Bid Item 44-Roadway Plates.
