Multi -Family Residential Uses <br />(q) Open space. All multi -family residential development must <br />provide 50 square feet of on-site open space for each dwelling <br />unit (see detailed open space requirements in Appendix A). <br />This is consistent with current area requirements in downtown for <br />each unit. <br />(r) Setbacks/Privacy. All ground floor residential units shall be set <br />back at least 10 feet from the public ROW or all living areas with <br />windows shall be elevated above the street grade at least 3 feet to <br />provide for increased privacy. The City will consider other design <br />solutions that retain resident privacy while enhancing the <br />pedestrian environment on the sidewalk. <br />Figure 54.
