Exhibit A <br /> Scope of Work and Billable Rates <br /> Triangle Associates, Inc. (Triangle) will schedule and present classroom workshops to <br /> elementary, middle and high school students to support the City's regional water conservation <br /> program and local surface water/watershed protection and wastewater program. <br /> During the 2017-2018 school year, the City agrees to pay Triangle for: <br /> • Up to 620 water conservation presentations in elementary, middle and high school <br /> classrooms throughout the Everett Water Service Area. These presentations are <br /> designed to teach age appropriate methods of water conservation. <br /> • Up to 95 surface water/watershed protection presentations in elementary,middle and <br /> high school classrooms in Everett and the Everett School District. These presentations <br /> are designed to provide a basic understanding of surface water and stormwater, <br /> watersheds and watershed protection. <br /> • Up to 50 wastewater/water quality protection presentations in middle and high school <br /> classrooms in Everett and the Everett School District. These presentations are <br /> designed to provide a basic understanding of the wastewater treatment process and <br /> how wastewater impacts water quality. <br /> Additionally,the City agrees to pay Triangle for updating and revising lessons and program <br /> materials, marketing programs to teachers and principals, and for collecting and summarizing <br /> teacher evaluations of the programs. <br /> Billable Rates <br /> The maximum billable amount for the water conservation school education program is $110,400 <br /> based on the following: <br /> Water Conservation activities itemized: <br /> • .Up to$83,700 for classroom presentations based on 620 presentations at$135 per <br /> presentation. <br /> • Up to $11,520 for revision of existing programs and program materials based on 160 <br /> hours at$72 per hour. <br /> • Up to $11,160 for marketing the programs to teachers and principals and scheduling <br /> with teachers based on 155 hours at$72 per hour. <br /> • Up to $1,860 for new and replacement program materials. <br /> • Up to $2,160 for program evaluation and a final report based on 30 hours at $72 per <br /> hour. <br /> Scope of Work <br /> City of Everett and Triangle Associates, Inc. <br /> May 2017 Page 1 <br />
