EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The City of Everett(Everett Transit)is purchasing up to seven(7) 100%electric buses and needs to install a bus <br /> charging system(s)on its property at 3225 Cedar Street,Everett. The vendor is tasked with providing all necessary <br /> engineering,design,components list,bid documents and anything else necessary to enable Everett Transit to release <br /> a construction bid for competitive procurement.In addition,the vendor is being tasked to perform the functions of <br /> construction management throughout the construction phase to ensure that the construction contractor meets all <br /> specifications and provides Everett Transit with a"turnkey"charging system. Everett Transit anticipates taking <br /> delivery of some or all of the buses in the first quarter of calendar year 2018 and must have a charging system to <br /> make them operational. <br /> Tasks shall include the following: <br /> TASK 1-ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING AND DESIGN: Vendor to work with Everett Transit,PUD,Proterra <br /> (bus manufacturer),and the charger manufacturer to: <br /> • Prepare site/building electrical plan showing(7)new Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations <br /> o List and identify all system components and their installation requirements and locations,to include,but <br /> not limited to: <br /> [1 Concrete work/platform requirements for all components <br /> Conduits and conduit runs <br /> Trenching/boring needs/requirements <br /> Transformer,switch box(s),vaults,etc. <br /> o Identify location and describe/design installation requirements for chargers within the area identified by <br /> Everett Transit,to include,but not limited to:. <br /> ❑ Concrete platforms <br /> Electrical conduit runs and connections <br /> • Coordinate new separate service with Snohomish County PUD: Application for service,etc. <br /> • Riser diagram,load calculations,fault current calculations. <br /> • Provide a rough order of magnitude cost of installation and construction. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Stamped/signed engineered drawings for permitting,bidding,and construction. <br /> • List of components and materials. <br /> • ROM construction cost <br /> TASK 2-CONSTRUCTION BID DOCUMENTS: Vendor is to provide construction bid specifications and scope <br /> of work for the construction and installation of charging system. These documents will be used by the City to bid <br /> out the work necessary for installation of the system. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Construction bid documents <br /> • Construction/installation scope of work <br /> • Drawings,schematics,etc.necessary for construction <br /> TASK 3-CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT: <br /> • Participate in construction contractor selection process: <br /> o Attend up to three(3)meetings as requested and required as part of process. <br /> • Three(3)onsite visits during construction management. <br /> • Change order management <br /> • Project closeout and document transfer <br /> TIMELINE <br /> Tasks 1 and 2 to be complete by June 30,2017 <br /> Construction complete by January 31,2018 <br /> Page 12 <br /> (Form Approved by City Attorney's Office January 7,2010,updated November 21,2016) <br />
