September 16, 2015 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br />6:30 p.m., September 16, 2015, in the City Council Chambers of the <br />William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. <br />Upon roll call it was found that Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, <br />Bader, and Tuohy were present. Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br />Gipson, and Stonecipher were excused. <br />President Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />The minutes of the September 9, 2015, City Council meeting were <br />approved as printed. <br />MAYOR <br />President Bader introduced the following under Mayor's comments. <br />OATH — POLICE OFFICERS <br />Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br />Roberts, to concur with the appointment of Garrett Johnson #1409; <br />Adam Hoffenbacker #1410 and Douglas Sparacio #1413 as new <br />police officers. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br />Members Gipson and Stonecipher who were excused. <br />Motion carried. <br />The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office and Council <br />President Bader presented them with their badges. <br />('.C)I INC'll <br />Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the United Way of <br />Snohomish County Human Services meetings. He thanked Budget and <br />Finance Subcommittee and its Chair, Council Member Murphy, for <br />277 <br />
